Zihuatanejo La Ropa Beach.
"La Ropa" is one of the most famous beaches of Zihuatanejo Bay. It is the main swimming beach of the bay, providing usually calm waters and small waves perfect for bodysurfing.
La Ropa beach stretches about a mile long and is dotted with a variety of open-air restaurants. Many restaurants on La Ropa beach extend service to the sand where they rent lounge chairs and umbrellas for a small fee. Snack on delicious fish tacos, ceviche and guacamole between cat naps in the sun.
Zihuatanejo Las Gatas beach.
Las Gatas beach is beautifully isolated at the southern end of Zihuatanejo Bay. Access to this pristine beach is by foot or water taxi only. There is no road to it. Hikers can follow the footpath to Las Gatas beach from La Ropa beach. Water taxis depart frequently from the Zihuatanejo municipal pier. Snorkeling, relaxing and dining in the sand are the main activities there. You can also practice all kinds of water sports.
